Abatement Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Abatement Worker to join our team. This role involves performing hazardous material removal and remediation tasks in compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safe work environments. Prior experience in construction, restoration, or mold remediation is a plus, along with knowledge of OHS regulations and asbestos abatement procedures. Job sites may vary and are located within HRM and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and other hazardous material removal tasks in accordance with provincial regulations.
• Set up containment areas and ensure proper sealing of work zones.
