Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency situations, providing emergency nursing care to students and staff presenting with acute/urgent illness, injury, or health issues.
- Administer medication to students in compliance with the Churchill County School District Medication Policy and the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide student health assessments to identify pupils whose health may interfere with learning. Screen for vision, hearing, scoliosis, and general physical health in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes.
