About the Role

1st Class Operating Engineer 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid 1ST Class Operating Engineer’s License,

knowledge of the Operating Engineers Act, Boilers, Pressure Vessels and fuels.

Knowledge of all applicable TSSA regulations.

Successful completion of a Community College Diploma in Power Engineering Technology or a related field of study or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Strong knowledge of power generation/transmission technology, water and wastewater treatment, including processes, procedures and related systems in a plant environment.

Sound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.

Knowledge of computers and ability to operate computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and to conduct research using the internet.

SAP knowledge/experience would be an asset, as would high-level...
