Purchase specialist (casting / forging)

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase to manage procurement activities for direct and indirect materials, as well as New Product Development (NPD) projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing and procurement of castings and forgings , along with proven vendor management and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of direct and indirect materials to support business operations
Handle sourcing and purchasing activities for NPD projects
Develop & maintain supplier relationships for castings, forgings, & other critical commodities
Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, & commercial terms with vendors
Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, & planning teams to ensure timely procurement
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices
