This phlebotomist role focuses primarily on blood draws while also performing specimen processing, data entry, and front-desk support in a busy patient service center and walk-in laboratory environment. You will provide high-quality, compassionate service to a diverse patient population, handle a high volume of daily draws, and support laboratory operations by entering orders, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate medical records.
Responsibilities
+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws for a high volume of patients, completing approximately 30 to 40 draws per day.
+ Provide professional, compassionate customer service to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including individuals receiving cancer care.
+ Collect blood and other specimens accurately, following established procedures and safety protocols.
