What You’ll Do

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers and ETL developers
• Define and drive the ETL/ELT architecture roadmap, with a strong emphasis on Azure modernization
• Establish engineering standards, code review practices, and delivery excellence
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, and Data Governance teams, while owning ETL design decisions

Azure Data Engineering & Modernization

• Architect and oversee pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and related services
• Lead the migration of legacy SSIS/on-prem ETL to scalable cloud-native solutions
• Design ingestion frameworks for structured, semi-structured (JSON, XML, CSV), and unstructured data
• Optimize pipeline performance, scalability, and cost using Azure monitoring tools
