About the Role
Basic Salary : RM5000
Location: Sarawak
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm & 8:30 pm to 12:30 am
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing the coordination of inbound freight flow while prioritizing daily tasks and weekly operational goals.
- Engaging in communication with suppliers, forwarders, brokers, carriers, and operations to swiftly resolve discrepancies.
- Taking charge of logistics operations, including securing shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, and choosing 3PL partners.
- Monitoring and expediting shipments, effectively addressing issues related to quality, quantity, and schedule discrepancies.
- Enhancing shipment efficiency by minimizing freight costs and evaluating the services of freight forwarders.
- Validating and resolving any shipping or customs documentation issues, encompassing PODs, BOLs, and carrier confirmations.
