Home Designer

The Home Designer provides design and estimating services to new and existing customers. They have excellent administrative, organizational and logistical skills. This person also should be familiar with computer programs such as Microsoft Windows/Office and CAD programs. These duties should be carried out in a manner that reflects our goal of providing the “best customer service experience on PEI”.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and specifications for new and existing customers or contractors.
• Explain the need for and the proper use of materials to the customer.
• Up-sell features and benefits to customers.
• Understand and be able to explain building code requirements to customers.
• Try to accommodate the contractors’ prescribed consumer budget.
• Recommend the Home Installs program.
• Visit job sites when required.
• Accompany outside salespeople on customer calls upon request.
