About the Role
Take on a pivotal role as an Evening Forklift Operator at Giant Tiger's Johnstown, Ontario distribution center. Drive efficiency while ensuring safety in a dynamic environment.
As a Forklift Operator, you will be working in a busy 660,000 square foot facility at Giant Tiger. Your responsibilities will include operating Narrow Aisle and High Bay Reach trucks to service Order Pickers, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a focus on safety standards like OSHA and WHMIS. You'll need to be detail-oriented to manage SKU scanning and address any damaged cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and operate Forklifts safely in high-traffic areas
• Follow management system instructions for inventory replenishment
• Scan and put away items accurately according to SKU
• Move damaged cases to designated areas
• Support other departments as directed by supervisors
Requirements:
• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment
• Valid Class G2 driver’s license preferred...
