The primary purpose of the CAD Operator is to carry out drafting work and nesting of program files to be sent to manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
CAD Operator
- Take existing part drawings in Radan Software, and alter them to suit parts need in line with quotations from sales team.
- Creation of Turret Punch programs (Nests) and other shop drawings and mockup designs as required.
- Create new parts needed from product design drawings in Radan.
- Support product development team to create detailed 3D design drawings in Designer.
